What can I tell you about myself that you can't already find on the internet?
I'm an proud Chilean-Canadian born and raised in Edmonton (Viva Chile!).
I graduated with honours & distinction from the NAIT Radio & Television Arts program with a focus on TV. For 5 years, I played in the television industry in Edmonton (Shaw TV, CityTV) with roles that varied from writer, to reporter, producer and anchor. I also dabbled in the freelance writing world as a shopping and style writer for Edmonton Life Magazine.
An amazing opportunity at CTV Vancouver had me packing up my belongings, my dog Maslow, and moving west. Needless to say, I fell in love with Vancouver instantly (that sexy beast!), and I've been here ever since.
Life is full of wonderful accidents, coincidences and randomness - and all three led to a job in the radio industry working on-air at 102.7 The Peak/93.7 JRFM as a drive show co-host and traffic reporter, as well as a weekend announcer.
When I'm not playing in radio land, I lend my voice to various companies. I also work in the TV industry as a production coordinator, media relations consultant and casting director.
In my spare time, I also emcee special & charitable events.
So how can I sum myself up for you?
I'm a music lover, fashion/beauty product/soccer junkie and one of those people who'll show you waaaaaay too many pictures of her dog on her iPhone *hangs head*.
I love belly dancing, Netflix, Nutella, and I'm a self-professed social media junkie.
In life there's nothing I enjoy more than good food, a nice glass of vino, amazing music, and good friends.
Oh! And yo hablo Español.
Thanks for stopping by friend!
